Overturned Tractor-Trailer Shuts Down Route 287 In Mahwah All lanes of Route 287 north were closed late Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 6, after a tractor-trailer overturned in Mahwah just before the New York border. The incident happened near Exit 66 at the Route 17 interchange in Mahwah. The crash was reported as of approximately 4:55 p.m.  Traffic cams show the tractor-trailer blocking all northbound lanes, forcing a complete shutdown of the highway.
